Based in Western Sydney, Australia, Christopher David is a professional photographer and artist with almost two decades behind the lens.
Inspired into the creative world by his late grandfather ‘Jose David’, Filipino artist for over 50 years, Christopher began his studies at NADC right after high school.
In 2000 his first course was a Certificate II in Fine Arts – Photography that created the roots for his future primary media. This progressed the next year by studying CIV Graphic Design in the day and Certificate III in Commercial Photography at night at the same campus.
Graduating with a Diploma in Graphic Design, he further continued his education studying web design at WSI, Certificate CIV Photo Imaging at Ultimo and various photography courses at community colleges across Sydney.
“ I believe to excel in this industry you must have a strong passion for it and see past the restraints of it being a job and paycheck. It becomes part of your life, part of who you are. I care a great deal about the work I create and can only hope others will like them too.”
With his strong technical background and creativity, Chris’s work spans throughout a diversity of subject matter from portraits, still life to landscapes, abstracts and experimental. He strives to achieve a strong visual impact within his aesthetically pleasing imagery.
