Mt Arayat in the Pampanga area of Luzon, Philippines is probably the most visible mountain travelling in the area.
Hiking up gives a grand view of the area and a highly enjoyable experience with a few challenges.
This is a 8 hour traverse hike which started being dropped on one side of the mountain. Later we were picked up on the other side at the end of the day.
A tour guide and registration is required and at a minimal cost.
The end of the hike and pick-up point brought us to a resort/pool area where we were able to cool off before the ride back to the accommodation.
